If only I had a side car....

Walked out to my car this morning to head to work and the doors were frozen shut. So, I decided to work from home. I didn't really feel like fighting the traffic anyway. I thought to myself, I'll bet my motorcycle would start right up. Too bad I don't have a side car rig.... Not sure that would have been much fun either since it was only 9 degrees this morning.

Who am I kidding? I would have had a blast! And the roads were mostly dry once I got our of my neighborhood anyway. Oh well.

  1. +1 to that! The cold doesn't seem to bother me at all I'm more concerned with the sliding.

I just heard of someone going across Canada on a F650GS thumper with a sidecar in the middle of winter. I don't remember the name but heard the interview on the Sidestand Up audio podcast.

Looked up the Iceman's website. http://www.paulmondor.com/

  3. Exactly my thought, too. I would love to make donuts in the snow with it (grinning from ear to ear).

  4. @SonjaM - I just took a look at your recent sidecar post! That's what I'm talking about! Haha! By the way, I am soooo jealous of your yellow GS! I'm going to accessorize in as much yellow as I can! :-)

  5. I'll add my voice to lusting after a sidecar rig. I already ride when it's cold, but snow stops me.

Just found your blog from a comment you made on Sonja's blog. Looks interesting. I'll be back.

  6. Hi Keith and welcome to my humble little blog! Thanks for reading and for the comments. Snow and ice are about the only things that stop me from riding too. I don't mind the cold, especially with my heated grips and hippo hands. As long as my hands are warm, I'm pretty much good to go.
