Thanks new readers!

And welcome! I started blogging when I got my 450 Honda Rebel. It was an easy way to keep track of my new adventures on my new to me and first motorcycle. The blog was more like a journal or diary for myself. I had a few readers, mostly family or folks from the Rebel Board. But, it wasn't much other than something for myself to enjoy. When I got the GS, I thought it deserved it's own blog and, here we are. The blog is still mostly for myself. It still helps me keep track of my adventures, the places I go, the farkles I buy, the modifications that are made. That seems to be true of most blogs. But, like all things in life, we are more the same than we are different, so these blogs hold appeal for many of us. It's nice to know all of you are interested to some degree in what I have to say. Thanks everyone for tuning in! I enjoy all of your blogs as well and have lurked on all of them. I get lots of ideas from all of you. :-) So, anyhoo, I just wanted to say thanks for reading and thanks for writing!

Ride safe and ride often! Cheers!

  1. I, for one, enjoy reading your blog. It is always nice to network with other riders for their take on a certain bike or farkle or such. And to hear about your adventures and experiences.

    Happy riding and happy blogging.

  2. My blog originally started years ago on a university implemented site as part of a "health promotion". In other words they wanted people to write about what they were doing for physical activity. It then progressed to geocacheing activities to promote walking. As soon as those university associated activities ended, I just continued to write about what interested me.

I enjoy your blog not only because I think you have a great bike but also to read about your experiences with it. The trip to Wyoming was great as even though I have been to Wyoming too many times to count, it was never on a bike (human powered once), and never been to Devils Tower.

    Keep writing!
    Richard
